This was the perfect gift for my woodworking hubby. He loves it. It was a terrific value and it comes in a durable case. Its compact size doesn't take up a lot of space in the workshop and it is easy to use at any skill level. Works as intended and has lots of features and accessories.

Got this as a gift for my son who loves wood carving and is working on an intricately detailed carving on a wood guitar face that he's customizing. He said it works well for the detailed work and is easy to use. He likes the various tips and that the carver is rechargeable. It's lightweight and easy to hold, important when you're trying to hand carve fine lines. The charge stays strong long enough that he can get a reasonable amount of work done before he needs to take a break.

I really recommend this tool set as one of the best gifts I can give to my husband, he is so excited, becauseit is really helpful for everything he make.

Very nice, easy to maneuver and change blades.Battery installs easily and seems to hold a good charge of approx 2-3 hrs of carving.It has not overheated on me like other corded reciprocators.I've been a wood sculptress over 30 yrs. hand carving old time whittlers tricks from bass wood mostly.I've used this carver on rosin picnic tables at a park I frequent. All around great instrument to have around and it's easy to transport, compact. I keep mine in it's case bag in my back pack along with other tools of my trade.If you'd like to take your carving with you wherever you go. I had this hobby of wood carving and this product is so useful and easy to use. The quality is amazing, the attachments are alot and all of them are very useful for carving interigue designs.

This power chisel is perfect for small jobs and relatively fine work. For me, I use it for cutting the wood to install a strike plate around a lock bolt hole. This tool does not move the chisel until you apply just a little bit of pressure after the tool is turned on. It is suitable for soft materials (wood, plastics), and the three different shaped chisels provided will do most small jobs without much difficulty. The trick I discovered in using this tool is making small cuts and planning exactly how much you want to cut. It does make working with a chisel much easier.

I got this item, and tried, it, and it works great. This item also has tips for it that I didnt realize, this is what I needed. Thanks for suppling it, it works really nice.

Now my hobby of making wooden figures is easier, I make more precise cuts and moldings, good battery life.

This is perfect for my woodworking! My hands aren't as strong or flexible as they used to be, and the manual chisels can be cumbersome. This makes chiseling a breeze! Love it!

Need to be vigilant of the duty cycle (15min on and 15min off) and of the sharpness of your tooling. Depending on what materials you are working with, you may need to replace or sharpen your tooling to ensure it works efficiently. Dull bits will not give you the desired results. It has been a pleasure to use this platform. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of amazing things I can make when I get some more practice. It is 1000x more controllable than a traditional chisel and mallet.

Works for small things, short periods of time, it became very hot when use Prolonged times and/or with hard materials

The 50/50 work cycle seems OK to me. Gives me time to plan my next move. I keeps timer on my work bench. I wish it came with more chisels. Keep them sharp.

The chisel function only works when you apply pressure so it's easy to control. Keep your bits sharp so they don't bounce off your carving.
