Three Interaction Modes
- Lightning on Fingertips: Touch the arc with a fingertip — the arc jumps to the finger and follows it as you move it around the needle. The sensation is a mild tingle. The high-frequency current passes over the skin surface. Brief contact only — do not hold contact for extended periods
- Wireless Lighting: Hold a CFL bulb, fluorescent tube, or LED near the needle without touching it — the electromagnetic field wirelessly powers the bulb. The closer to the needle, the brighter the bulb. A live demonstration of wireless energy transmission that works with any fluorescent or LED light source
- Lightning Guidance: Hold a metal rod, wire, or conductive object near the arc — the arc jumps to the object and can be guided and directed by moving the object around the needle. The arc follows the nearest conductive point and can be steered in real time
Setup Guide
- Step 1 — Install Discharge Needle: Screw the metal discharge needle into the fixing hole on the top center of the host box. Ensure it is screwed in firmly — this is where the electrical sparks emit from
- Step 2 — Connect Power: Plug the DC jack end of the power adapter cable into the power port on the side of the device
- Step 3 — Power On: Plug the adapter into a wall socket (110V–220V compatible). The device activates, and small sparks or a glow will appear from the needle. Turn the PWR knob clockwise to increase arc intensity
- Step 4 — Bluetooth Music Mode: Search for the Bluetooth device on your phone (named "Tesla Coil" or similar) and connect. Set phone volume to maximum. Play square wave music for best arc response. Use for approximately 8 minutes at a time — disconnect power and allow the device to cool before resuming extended use
Safety Guidelines
- Minors must be supervised by an adult at all times during use
- The discharge needle is sharp — handle with care during installation and removal
- The arc generates heat — keep away from flammable and explosive materials. Do not place objects on top of the unit during operation
- Keep away from pacemakers, hearing aids, and sensitive electronic devices — the electromagnetic field can cause interference
- In Bluetooth and arc mode, use for approximately 8 minutes at a time. Allow the device to cool fully before resuming. Continuous, uninterrupted use can damage the internal MOS transistor
- Do not touch the arc for extended periods — brief fingertip contact is safe, prolonged contact is not
- Use square wave music in Bluetooth mode for best results — standard music does not produce optimal arc modulation. Contact customer service for square wave music playback links if needed
