I still need to get a pot for this, but it was easy to assemble and looks great in my small office .
This 5 ft artificial Bird of Paradise plant has a lovely tropical look and adds a vibrant touch to any space. The leaves are lush and the overall height makes it a great statement piece for indoor or outdoor decor. It was easy to assemble but, I found it challenging to shape the plant to match the promotional photos. The leaves and stems tend to stand upright and resist bending into a more natural, cascading form. I was able to pull them down slightly, but the alignment still feels off compared to a real plant's organic flow. That said, the quality of the materials is solid, and it does brighten up the room. If you're okay with a more structured, upright look, this could still be a great addition to your decor. Just don't expect it to mimic the relaxed drape of a live Bird of Paradise.
I'm really impressed with this artificial plant! The leaves are large, vibrant, and have realistic texture and color that mimic a real banana or bird-of-paradise plant. It instantly brightens up my living room and adds a fresh, tropical vibe without any maintenance. The plant arrived well-packaged and the stems are sturdy and easy to shape. It fits perfectly into a small decorative planter or basket if you want to upgrade the look. Great buy for anyone wanting greenery without the hassle!
I've been to many places across town looking for faux plants and this beats them all on looks and price. Easy to set up and the colors on the leaves are vibrant and the details on the leaves are visible. Highly recommend.
This plant is pretty but needs a separate planter basket or planter to hold it. It has a cement base that is sturdy that holds the stems in place strongly. It is made of thick wire that takes some muscle to bend, though I accidentally was too strong with one leaf stem and bent it too much so that the wire broke. That was my fault. Oops! The leafs are big and shiny. You put some of the leaves in the slots with the same corresponding number and letter. You have to firmly push in and make sure the leaf is facing up the correct way so the underside of the leaf doesn't show on top. After pushing the leaves into the stems you bend them with some force because the wire is very thick, to where you like the space between the leaves. And that's it. To make it pretty at the base you have to no a separate basket or pot to put the cement base into.
I have tested and reviewed many of these artificial plants/trees. Bottom line: if you like the simple and clean lines of a bird of paradise plant, you won't be disappointed with this artificial one. See several photos of the plant in one of my rooms. It most definitely evokes a tropical vibe.Unlike others I have reviewed, this artificial plant was very easy to assemble and shape. The leaves and branches are all numbered so it's quick and easy to properly assemble. I also REALLY appreciated that the stickers used to number the pieces came off easily. I've been so frustrated with all the time wasted trying to get sticker residue off other products. Once you insert the 8 individual leaves, you just need to spend a few minutes giving the branches and leaves a natural curve to open up the plant and to give it a more realistic appearance. The two top leaves are lighter green in color, indicative of newer growth, and all the leaves have slight in the edges. These features add to the realism. Given the broad leaves, this plant will also be much easier to dust and keep clean than other types of artificial plants/trees.A few tips: first, the leaves come somewhat wrapped around the stems in the box. Place the package of leaves face-down on your floor for a day or two before assembling (see photo). This will help flatten them back out so they won't have any unnatural curvature.Second, the plant comes with some dried moss to place on top of the cemented pot (to hide the cement). I think the moss really cheapens the look. Plus, if you will be using the plant outdoors, that moss will quickly fly away unless you hot-glue it down. Instead, I recommend filling the top of the pot with some weighted substrate, such as decorative stones. I chose to use some expanded clay pebbles (see photo).Lastly, the plant comes cemented in only a 6-inch black plastic pot. If you will be tucking this plant in a corner or behind some furniture, that pot may be sufficient. But if you will be using this plant outdoors, in a high-traffic area, or as a focal point where the pot will be front-and-center, I recommend purchasing a larger decorative planter into which you can sink (and hide) the small plastic pot. Just fill the entire planter with your decorative substrate. This will not only make the overall look more realistic, but it will also make the plant much more stable (especially for outdoor use).
Love these faux plants. They look decently realistic (the palms look more realistic in my opinion). They were slightly harder to assemble to the look in the photos but once together, they look great.
The tress are good quality. I ordered the 7ft ones and I absolutely love them! They are beautiful I found the perfect pots for them and it gave me the look I was looking for. The only downside is the leaves dont bend that great but Im cool with that. I was able to bend them enough to get the look I wanted.
This is the most beautiful and realistic, quality-looking bird of paradise tree plant . It's lightweight and easy as hell to assemble.Pro tip. If the plant is too short for the room you're placing it in, place a cardboard box beneath the bottom to give it more height. I cut out a circular piece of cardboard to surround the stems, and it goes out to barely touch the inner rim of the planter it's sitting in. Add faux moss around the stems and up to the rim of the planter - and it looks realistic as ever!Tip: Faux plants look more realistic if you gently bend the leaves to fan them out. However, do not bend them too much or it WILL snap.
Good
This is my favorite artificial plant purchase ever! Absolutely gorgeous!
Love it. Looks real
Love it
Review of Faux Bird of Paradise Plant. Four feet tall, striking in appearance. The height and width of this big plant give the appearance of being live. It transforms an ordinary room into a space with a tropical garden feel. The main (base) stems of this plant are detailed and look similar to bamboo. The huge leaves have to be assembled with the main stems. Simply, a wire protruding from the leaf stem has to be inserted into the hollow main stem. More often than desired, a leaf tends to fall out of its base stem, which is a contributing factor to the 4 Star Rating given here. Perhaps a drop of glue would remedy this aggravation. Since the stems are heavy duty, some pressure has to be applied to bend them into an arrangement that gives this bird of paradise plant a more realistic appearance. Another reason for 4 Stars is because an essential and beautifying feature is missing from this plant. It has no bird of paradise flowers, which are dramatic looking, resembling the head of a bright colorful tropical bird. I purchased four flowers that bring out the tropical feel of this plant. The base stems are permanently attached into a small pot with a cement-like material and are not rearrangeable. A small bag of moss grass was included with this plant. Installed in a bigger decorative pot with a few additional flowers and maybe a tropical bird perched on a leaf, this faux plant will be a definite favorite.
Not as realistic as I thought it would be but still nice. I put it in a planter w/ rocks to keep it in place and then put it at end of pool to hide the filter. From far away it does look nice.
It is very easy to assemble the fronds on the stems. They provide you with matching letter/number codes to get it right. Of course, you will need to remove those, which I have yet to do. I'll update you if the glue is too sticky. You will need to bend the stems at the base to get it to look presentable. The stems are very rigid, and you have to apply more force than you expect to bend them, but do not fear they will break- they will bend.I think the fronds look fairly realistic, but you will need to put the base in your own planter to have it look decent.
This faux bird of paradise looks really good in a corner where you're not seeing it up close. A true bird of paradise would have flowers, so this is really more of a generic palm look. The leaves look nice, and I like how you can kind of zhuzh the stems and leaves into a really natural arrangement. The 4 ft size is nice for a patio or office space but feels a bit short in a living room - it only sticks up a foot or so over the couch. I like that it comes with a weighted base! It keeps it very stable and makes it safe for kids. I think for the price and quality, this is a good buy, but it's not perfect.
