Zipline Kit for Kids & Adults – 52ft Backyard Zip Line Set

The zip line hardware is of excellent quality, thick and sturdy steel. The trolley itself is heavy and solid with nice, high quality seeming rubber grips, and the trolley doesn't flip over even if there is no seat attached.The customer service is as good as promised - I sent them an email and they emailed me back by the next morning.It was "relatively" easy to put up. The assembly is straight forward enough. The hard part is getting the slack out of the cable, which weighs a ton. I did it by myself once, but it was quite a bit of work, loosening one U-bolt, pulling as much cable as I could, re-tightening the U-bolt, maneuvering a ladder around under the middle of the cable to lift it up, etc., to get it as tight as possible by hand, and then tightening down the top turn-buckle nearly all the way.The second time I did it (we moved from one set of trees to another), I borrowed a ratcheting tool specifically designed to pull up the slack from a friend who also has a zip line. That made it MUCH easier, although its an expensive tool that you basically are going to use once or twice. So I would recommend just trying without the ratcheting tool, but probably two people to get it as tight as possible.Ours came with a heavy plastic block attached to a thick bungee cord as the brake system. The plastic block has a hole in it through which to thread the zip line and then it slides until the bungee reaches its limit. It seemed pretty solid and worked well, but after about 8 months, the zip line started cutting the hole in the block wider. I contacted customer service, and they emailed back right away and said they'd switched to a steel spring brake system and would send me one right away. Sure enough a few days later it showed up, no fuss.The zip line is a lot of fun. It was a hit at our daughter's last birthday party and inspired some friends to get one (the friends who have the ratcheting tool). And its pretty good exercise probably - like with sledding, once the kid has ridden down, they have to run back up the hill with the trolley in tow.Grown-ups have been known to take a turn now and then as well.I highly recommend this product.

Easy set-up and take-down. My grandkids loved it, but it definitely required adult supervision: we put a stepladder at the start of the run, and I had to catch them at the end of the run to keep them from banging into the tree that the strap was attached to. Did not work for adults, because there was too much flex in the strap, even when very tight.

A trip to the hardware store was needed for one fastener. The bolt that goes through the Trolly and holds the Trolly Locker in place was missing. Other than that issue the installation was simple, instructions were clear, and everything provided seems to be excellent quality. This would have been a 5 star rating if all parts were included.

Kit arrived missing multiple parts. Contacted the email address listed on the instructions. They sent an entire new kit, which arrived in 2 days. Was able to complete installation in a few hours. The ratchet strap was extremely useful for getting enough tension on the line. Now my kids can't stop riding it!

Very happy with this zipline so far. Took a couple of hours to set up. In theory, one could install this alone, but it is certainly helpful to have at least one other person. The longer the zipline (we only did the 80ft., for now...), the more help will be needed to pick up the slack for tightening the line. Do your kids a favor and buy a pool noodle from the dollar store, slice it length-wise and wrap it around the rope with tape to hold it on. Otherwise the rope will cause discomfort on their hands and other areas over time. Overall, it has been great fun for the kids (and I've been on it a couple times too)!

My kids are obsessed. The neighbors kids are obsessed. I âm not saying I hâve created a full-blown backyard amusement park, but I am considering charging admission.It took my husband about two hours to set up. Once it was in, it was rock solid. Super sturdy, feels safe, and has not budged since. He's now being referred to as âœThe Ride Operator, and honestly, hes leaning into it.The zipline is smooth, fast, and just the right amount of thrill.The laughter has not stopped since we put it up. Neither have the visits from kids I hâve never seen before.If you hâve got trees and energy to burn, this things a no-brainer.Also: bring snacks. The line forms fast.

Such an amazing kit!! And so affordable!! It was a perfect project and fits the whole family! Quality is exceptional! 5 year old loves it. Would definitely recommend 100 feet. Wish the instructions were a lot more detailed, but if you have a handy husband its quite simple.

Seems well made and includes everything you need for a backyard zipline. The only downside being the included instructions, they are not at helpful at all (they are really bad!). I had to pull up videos on YouTube in order to complete the assembly. That being said, I believe the final product is sturdy and safe enough for our grandkids to use.

My kids love this thing. It was really easy to install and had instructions on elevations. The recommendation is 10% slope, which means you measure the distance between the two trees and divide by 10 and that should be the elevation difference between your two points. (56'/10=5.6'). I do wonder how the "average Joe" will work out the elevation difference - i work in construction so have tools. But if you don't, you might consider buying an inexpensive angle finder and sighting down it like a rifle and eyeballing it. Setting it up took about 1 hour and the kids were zipping. I tested it myself first - i'm 275# - and it held me fine.My only concern is rust in the rainy season. I'm not convinced all the components are suitable for long term outdoor use, but we will see. At this price, i'm not too worried as i can just buy another one in a few years if it is an issue.Great product. Great value.

For the longer models (I installed the 160 foot zipline), it will be hard to get the cable tight. I used my tractor to pull it while my son tightened the wire rope clamps. Also, the clamps provided are not great. I ended up going to the hardware store and buying new ones that were much heavier duty. One of the provided clamps broke during installation, and I didn't feel comfortable using them. This is an overall great product at a great price.

Super durable, tons of fun! Lots of options, really easy to install, safe enough for toddlers, perfect size for any area you have to set up, no rust, no quirks, works perfectly.

Got this for our daughters 5th birthday. She loves it! So much fun. Was a big hit for her party too. All the kids loved it. Simple to set up and long. Very durable. The speed will vary depending on how you set it up. Ours goes pretty quick with a slight incline. Its very easy to use and I feel safe letting my 5 year old use it by herself. Very happy with our purchase.

I got this at the beginning of summer for the grandkids and they had a blast with it. It was simple to install, my son-in-law put it up by himself within minutes. I was a little worried about safety and it being sturdy but once they started zipping on it, I could see it was both. The kids had so much fun we would have to make them stop. The speed can be adjust depending on how high you start off so that was easy to adjust. Great idea and worth every penny!

I settled on this set after reading various reviews that discussed it as being of high quality and sturdy construction. After installation and 100+ trips down the zipline by the grandkids and their friends, I agree with that assessment and am really happy with the purchase.I ordered a cable that was 10 ft longer than our run required and was glad I did. It gave me the wiggle room I needed to wrap it around the end tree and then attach the cable to a nearby tree using a 2 inch tie-down strap as a come-along tool of sorts. Installation was made easier with two adults. We were able to create a loop at the end of the cable using one of the supplied cable clamps. With the loop attached to the come-along tool, we pulled the cable snug and then used the two other cable clamps to hold it in place. Then we detached the tie down device, removed the cable clamp releasing the loop we made, and installed the clamp between the other two so that all three were installed per the instructions. Once the cable was secure, the supplied turnbuckle tensioner worked great to tune the cable to our desired tension.The trolly is well built. The seat base and rope are a tad flimsy but adequate. After several runs, the kids complained that the skinny rope was hurting their groin so we added a cushion of sorts (an 8 inch piece of a foam swim noodle) and that solved the issue. Also, the cable is only 3/16 inch diameter so it's a tad more stretchy than a thicker cable would be. It's great for kids (8 - 12 year olds in my family) but an adult or older youth would probably have their feet dragging the ground when in the middle of the run.When I purchased this unit, I was content with the price. When I went to my shopping cart to check out, there was a $50 discount coupon that made the purchase a no-brainer.

The fact is, putting up a zipline on your own is daunting. We didn't initially think we could do it ourselves, but then we opened the box and realized it was much simpler than we had imagined.Here's the nitty gritty; The box comes with everything you'll need. The only things you âll need are a socket wrench, a total of two people, and a ladder.The instructions are simple. Truly. If you get confused about something, there are videos you can watch. I only needed to watch a video for 10 seconds to confirm something, but its otherwise as simple as can be. I'm a mom of two. My husband and I set it up in about an hour or so without anything fancy, and without much frustration.Tip: When you're attaching and tightening the zipline to the end point tree, attach the clamps one by one. Attach one as taut as you can (dont worry if its pretty loose) thatll hold the zipline in place. Then attach the second one, and while the second one holds it in place, loosen the first and tighten it using the second one as leverage. Then attach the third one, using the first two as leverage. This way, you continue tightening the zipline using the tension and leverage from the clamps one by one. You donâ€t need a truck (lol) to pull the line taut. You simply need to use your head! That’s one of the reason there are three clamps. Use them to your advantage.It’s sturdy. Very sturdy. My 235 lbs husband can easily slide across. No issues, no lag, no problems.If we can do it, you can too! The kids are overjoyed having a zipline in the backyard. It’s definitely the best investment we made this summer (after the pool) because with how 2020 has been, we need all the in-home fun we can get!

We purchased this zip line after hours of countless research on the internet for an affordable unit that comes with just about everything you need.Instructions in this thing are pretty straight forward. However, here is where they must think we are all Hercules. The cable stretched out (for us 85 ft) is extraordinarily heavy. They state in the directions that the kit comes with everything you need. To be frank that would be true if you have 5 adults helping you assemble. For myself, it was just my husband and I and our semi helpful 5 kids.It states the tension can be revealed upon installation by people holding sticks or brooms to support the weight as you stand on a platform/ladder attempting not to fall lifting what feels to be a million pounds tensioning the cable. I with the help of two kids lifting slack and my husband were unable to make it tight enough. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR; BUY A CABLE PULLER AND A CABLE CLAMP TO HOLD IN PLACE UPON INSTALLING.Other than slightly tricky set up, it is AMAZING I highly recommend for the price! It has far paid for itself in the fact that my kids play on it constantly! It is very safe (when installed as recommended) and now that I know what i am doing and have the correct tools I would probably be able to get this thing installed in under 2 hours with one adult handy. SO MORAL OF THE STORY either have a lot of friends (strong friends) or spend the extra 50 bucks on the two other items needed to save you the headache! Other than that great product very happy!!!

Kids are loving it! We got the zip line as an early Christmas present ( from Grandma-claus) and installed immediately. There is a process to installation, so make sure you have extra hands. Initially the men in the family had it tied up in the 2 trees we planned to anchor to. This was a challenge as the line gets caught up on the bark of the tree and makes it difficult to pull taunt. The kids used it for a day and we noticed it was sagging, despite the tightened turn buckle. So, after some evaluation, we decided to head to the hardware store for some modifications. After getting a chain (for around the tree), cable puller and a pulley (we got one rated for 580lbs) we were back at it. I didn't get any pictures of the process as I was helping with the 2nd install, but it was SO much easier once we made these modifications. And the line is nice and tight, only sags slightly when the kids ride it (like it is supposed to) and everyone is happy. Now, to build a platform as the starting point is 11ft off the ground!This line is great, And the modifications we had to make cost an extra. I know each situation is different for where they will be hung on on what, probably why they dont include more hardware for installation. Happy Zipping!
