Works great. Just make sure you use the small button when adding or removing the cutting blades. Some people seem to have had a problem with this. Its easy if you do it correctly.

I've only used this once so far, to shred carrots for carrot cake, but it worked perfectly. Wasn't nearly as noisy as the food processor I used to use, and the pieces washed easily in the dishwasher.

Works very well for the price. However, I do a lot of shredding cheese. The motor can sound a little bogged down and it does need a slip/rock resistant base. You definitely have to hold it down. Definitely worth the money and saving the arm muscles!

This electric slicer does a really good job of slicing and grating. I have grated cheese and potatoes for Hash browns. It has to sizes for the grating. I used the larger grater for the potatoes and the cheese. I also used the slicer for some sliced potatoes. It has two sizes for the slicer, thin and thick. But it seems to me that there is a small difference between to two. To me, it seems they are the same size.
